Plymouth Community Homes will be delivering more affordable homes for South East Cornwall after securing a range of two, three, and four-bedroom properties in Bodmin.
We have purchased 24 homes within the Highfield Park development in Bodmin, one of Cornwall’s oldest towns, which will be made available for affordable rent and shared ownership purchase.
Of the 24 homes, 17 will be offered for affordable rent to local people, including a mix of one-bedroom flats and two, three, and four-bedroom houses.
There will be seven homes available for shared ownership purchase through our sales brand SO Living, including a selection of two and three-bedroom houses.
The Highfield Park development is being built by Pearce Fine Homes and is located close to a wide range of amenities including schools, a college, shops, and major supermarkets.
The new-build Bodmin homes have been purchased thanks to PCH working in partnership with Cornwall Council through the Cornwall Housing Partnership.
The acquisition follows affordable homes secured by PCH at development sites in the area surrounding Plymouth in recent years including at sites in Liskeard, Callington, St Ann’s Chapel, Yelverton, Newton Ferrers, Sherford, and Tavistock.

The first affordable homes to be offered for rent or shared ownership sale through PCH & SO Living will be available from summer 2023.
