Local affordable housing coming soon to Salcombe

At SO Living, we understand the need for high-quality affordable shared ownership homes across Devon and Cornwall. Our development in St. Stephen’s Green, Salcombe is a great opportunity for locals to be able to stay within their community. 

Salcombe is known for its beautiful coastline, stunning countryside views and close-knit community. It has always been a summertime hotspot for holiday makers but it’s the locals year-round that make it the town that it is.

In collaboration with South Hams Council, we have made this development exclusively available to customers that meet the section 106 requirements which are local connection criteria, under occupancy, and 80% restricted staircasing. This local connection criteria applies to either people who live, work or have family based in Salcombe.

We recognise the value and need for services within the community; therefore, these shared ownership homes are eligible for serving members of the RNLI as well as Devon and Somerset Fire Service and Rescue.
