Starting from 2 January 2020, you can apply for Help to Buy Shared Ownership through one of three Help to Buy agents. These three agents have been appointed by the government to offer the scheme in England and are on hand to support you in the purchase of your new build home.
The old Help to Buy South West has now been replaced with Help to Buy South and all previous services, including the original website have been updated.
This means that if you are interested in shared ownership, you will now have to register with Help to Buy South (previously Help to Buy South West) who will determine whether you are eligible for the scheme. All applications who are currently purchasing will also need to re-register Help to Buy South regardless of which stage they are at in the application process.
If you have completed on your property, then you don’t need to worry!
The eligibility application will remain the same, and you will still need to tick Plymouth Community Homes if you are interested in one of our schemes.
